The community of Sława covers an area of 32 679 ha and it is situated in lubuskie province, in the Sława Lake District. The capital of the community is Sława, set on the Sławskie Lake.

The Pszczółkowskie Hills

The forest nature Wzgórza Pszczółkowskie route is located in the area of protected landscape in the south-eastern part of Sława Śląska forest inspectorate and it runs through an extensive forest complex between Stare Strącze, Krzydłowiczki and Pszczółkowo places.

Not far away from Sława, in a small village called Lubogoszcz where only 576 inhabitants live, there is the ‘Tajga’ Gallery. It is situated in Narcyzowa 10 Street.

Lubuszanin II Ship ferries during the whole season (from the beginning of June until the end of September) every day. The cruise starts in the area of Sława Culture and Rest Centre, next to the water chute.

Lubuski Water Route: - Sława - Santok - length 220 km (10 days);

Sławskie Lake - Obrzyca River - Rudno Lake - Obra's South Channel and the group of Męcko - Wieleńskie Lakes (a possibility to join the Lily of the Valley Route - length: 50 km) (3 days);

Sława's New Market is a home to Poland's first 'Blues Stars Alley'. The list of people who have stamped their hands on the promenade includes such stars as Magda Piskorczyk and Sławek Wierzcholski of Nocna Zmiana Blues'a Band. The star of honour of the promenade is Tadeusz Nalepa (died in 2007) - 'the Father of Polish Blues'. The 'walk of fame' (the promenade) was created on account of the 'Woods, Water & Blues' - the National Blues Festival which has been held in Radzyń for two years. The main originator and the founder of this undertaking is Wratislavia Holiday Resort in Radzyń.
